Donglingyu

Dongling Jade Mine in Wensu County is located 36 kilometers north of Bochengzi Coal Mine in Wensu County. It is 140 kilometers away from Wensu County, including 92 kilometers of asphalt pavement and the rest are gravel roads, with convenient transportation. The ore body occurs in the middle and upper strata of the Devonian Alatag Formation, and the rock strata in the mining area are monoclinic, and the ore body is jointed and fractured. The deposit is composed of I and II ore bodies with a geological reserve of 460,000 tons. The rock type of minerals is quartzite or quartzite containing tremolite. In the early years, it was called "Indian jade" or "Bingling jade", and now it is called Dongling jade, which has high quality and large quantity and good metallogenic conditions. The main composition of quartzite is mainly green, with green and white mottled, and white is irregularly veined and breccia-shaped, and flocculent distributed in the green base. The stone is hard, but brittle, with a polycrystalline structure, slightly transparent, and a small part of it is translucent. After polishing, it feels delicate and shiny, and the process effect is good.
