Weijiazhuang vegetables

Weijiazhuang Village, Duoba Town, Huangzhong County, Qinghai Province has a flat terrain with an average elevation of 2,260 meters, fertile soil, abundant groundwater resources and convenient irrigation. Located in the east of Xining City, 17 kilometers away from the largest wholesale market of Haihu Road in Xining City, it provides convenient conditions for the development of pollution-free vegetables in this village. In recent years, Weijiazhuang has actively implemented various measures to promote agriculture through science and technology, adjusted the agricultural planting structure according to local conditions, and made great efforts to build a vegetable planting base in the whole village. The area of cultivated land in this village is 2,002 mu, of which the vegetable planting area is 1,280 mu, and there are 1,650 solar energy-saving greenhouses, of which each greenhouse covers an area of 336.5 (square meters/seat), and the output of each greenhouse is 5,000 (kg). Half of the more than 500 households in the village are engaged in greenhouse vegetable production, only one vegetable is planted, and the per capita income of farmers is more than 3,000 yuan. At present, Weijiazhuang Village has become a pollution-free vegetable production base in Qinghai Province, and vegetable production has become the leading industry in the construction of new countryside in Weijiazhuang Village. In 2011, Weijiazhuang Village (vegetables) in Duoba Town, Huangzhong County, Qinghai Province was recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture as a "national one village, one product" demonstration village.
