Bloodstone [1] is a dickite in Cinnabar, and its color is brighter than cinnabar. Because its color is as bright red as chicken blood, people commonly call it chicken blood stone. The earliest found bloodstone in China is the bloodstone from Yuyanshan, Changhua, Zhejiang. Later, bahrain bloodstone in Bahrain Right Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia was discovered. In 1990s, bloodstone was found in Shaanxi, Gansu, Sichuan, Hunan and Yunnan. The bloodstone in Xunyang is mainly produced in Tongwengou mercury antimony mine. According to legend, there was a kind of bird in ancient times, called "bird lion", also known as phoenix bird, which was aggressive by nature. One day, flying over Yuyan Mountain for food, I saw a phoenix hatching eggs, and suddenly had evil thoughts and attacked him. The unprepared burn was bitten off his leg. When Feng heard the news, he arrived, sharing the same enemy, and defeated the "bird lion". Although the Phoenix won, it was bloody, dyed the whole Yuyan Mountain red, and became a bloodstone as bright as jade. According to textual research, the mining of bloodstone began in Ming Dynasty, and it was famous in Qing Dynasty. Emperor Kangxi, Emperor Qianlong and Emperor Jiaqing appreciated the bloodstone of Changhua very much, and used it as a seal. In the early 1970s, former Japanese Prime Minister tanaka kakuei and former Foreign Minister Masayoshi Daping visited China, and Prime Minister 1 gave Changhua bloodstone as a national gift to two distinguished guests. The stone carvers are Shen Shoujue and Liu Youshi, seal engravers of Jiyunge. As a result, bloodstone became famous in Japan and set off a wave of collecting bloodstone. When a large number of Japanese tourists come to China, they will bring bloodstone back to China as the first choice gift. In China, Chinese people's enthusiasm for investing in the collection of bloodstone is also increasing year by year.
