Zhenping Huanglian

Zhenping Huanglian Huanglian, also known as Wanglian and Zhilian, is a perennial herb belonging to the genus Huanglian of Ranunculaceae. It is a commonly used Chinese medicine with the functions of clearing away heat and dampness, purging fire and detoxifying. Its taste is extremely bitter, and there is a saying that "the dumb eats coptis, and the bitterness can't be said." Location: 41 administrative villages in 9 towns including Huaping, Zhongbao, Xiaoshuhe, Shuping, Shangzhu, Chengguan, Niutoudian, Hongshi and Zengjia under the jurisdiction of Zhenping County, Shaanxi Province. Zhenping Huanglian is a geographical indication product of agricultural products.
