Baxian Yunwu Tea, formerly known as Baxian Tea, is produced in Songya Township, Baxian District, Pingli County, southern Shaanxi Province. Baxian Yunwu tea is a new famous tea created by scientific and technical personnel of Pingli County Tea Technology Station and local tea farmers in the 1980s. It was developed in 1984, and passed the provincial appraisal in July 1986. In 1987, it was rated as a high-quality product in Shaanxi Province. In 1988, it was awarded the title of "High-quality Famous Tea in Shaanxi Province". In 1990, it won the "Luyu Cup" award at the famous tea seminar in western China. In 1991, it won the gold medal of high-quality health care products in China, becoming a rising star of famous teas in China and Shaanxi. The main producing area of Baxian Yunwu tea is Songya Township, Baxian District, Pingli County. It turns out that tea is not produced here. According to legend, more than 300 years ago, during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, Zhang, an immigrant, brought tea seeds from Hunan and planted them in Mozigou, Yahe Nao. Due to the suitable climate, lush growth, and fragrant tea, the quality of tea is excellent. There are more than 2,000 acres of tea gardens, with an annual output of more than 80,000 kilograms of tea. Eight Immortals Cloud Tea has unique natural conditions. Tea gardens are mostly distributed in deep mountains and valleys with an altitude of 1000 ~ 1400 meters. Coupled with moderate light, loose soil and fertile soil, it is a good place for tea tree growth. Tea tree grows in such an excellent natural environment, is moistened by sunshine and rain, has tender leaves and thick leaves, and has the advantage of "mountain clouds make good tea".
