Longan Bixuan Tea is a specialty of Langao County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. Long 'an Tea Series famous tea is produced in Nangong Mountain, a national forest park. It is made by picking excellent young tea buds as raw materials and refining through multiple processes. It has beautiful appearance, green color, clear and bright soup color, high and lasting fragrance, mellow taste and sweet aftertaste. Longan Bixuan Tea is produced at the foot of the south gate of the national forest park. It was regarded as the "Research on the Development of Forest Specialty in Qinba Mountain Area" by the Provincial Science and Technology Commission in 1987. It was successfully developed in 1990 and passed the provincial appraisal and naming. The tea was mined about ten days before Qingming Festival, and the standard for picking fresh leaves was 1 bud and 1 leaf or 1 bud and 2 leaves, and it was made by processes such as enzyme fixation and baking. It is shaped like an orchid, with a strip-shaped micro-garden, brilliant green, fresh and sweet taste, clear soup color and lasting orchid fragrance, and is rich in trace elements such as zinc and selenium which have health-care effects on human body. After the successful development of Longan Bixuan, Professor Chen Jue, a famous Chinese tea expert and a leading figure in the tea industry, personally named it "pollution-free Longan Bixuan". This tea was awarded the title of "National Famous Tea" by the Ministry of Commerce in 1986 and 1990, ending the history that there was no national famous tea in Shaanxi. In 1989, he won the silver prize of the first food Expo in Zhongtong and the gold prize of quality health care products in China. In 1999, it was awarded as the famous brand product of China International Agricultural Fair, which is the fist product of Langao tea and the public famous brand of Langao people. Long 'an tea series of famous teas naturally contain selenium, zinc, iron, calcium and other essential trace elements, which are precious natural health products. It was certified as "pollution-free tea" by the Tea Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In the process of planting, processing and sales, it has passed the national "organic tea" standard certification, and is popular both inside and outside the province with its excellent quality and rich selenium and zinc.
