Chengcheng Apple is a specialty of Chengcheng County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. Chengcheng County is one of the top 30 apple production counties in China and a national apple standardization demonstration area. Apples in Chengcheng County sell well in Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Guangzhou and other places. Chengcheng is a traditional agricultural county, located in the northeast of Weibei Plateau in Shaanxi Province, with a continental monsoon climate of warm temperate zone, with four distinct seasons, abundant sunshine and large temperature difference between day and night. It ranks above the golden belt of apple production in the world, and is a national agricultural standardization demonstration county, a national top 30 apple production county, a national apple standardization demonstration zone and a key base county of high-quality apple production in the province. In recent years, Chengcheng County has been constantly adjusting the variety and layout of apples, expanding the planting area of apples, and comprehensively popularizing four key techniques of excellent fruits, namely, big shape modification, strong pruning, clever fertilization and pollution-free, according to the idea of "developing late-maturing fresh fruits in northern eugenic areas, developing middle-early fruits in central and southern areas, and focusing on developing processed fruits in southern areas". Up to now, the county's fruit area has expanded to 500,000 mu, including 430,000 mu of apples, and the excellent fruit rate has increased to over 80%, with an annual output of 400,000 tons of fruit and an annual fruit industry income of 1.5 billion yuan. The green fruit base is certified at 110,000 mu, and the area of organic fruit is certified at 16,500 mu. "SOD＋+milk+honey" apples are favored by consumers, and brands such as Chengcheng, Shaanxi Star and Dibi are getting louder and louder.
