Xingangyi

When Xingang Yi was founded, its original name was "Rat Baby Sugar", also known as "Shuang Ren Run", which was created by Lu Qitou, a vendor of Zhuangjiang CuO Store in Min Hsiung, in 1891. It turned out that Mr. Lu Lao made a living by selling homemade "maltose" and "potato candy" in Min Hsiung, and once he was unable to go out for business because of continuous rain. After separation, it was made into a small piece with a small head and a small tail, which was shaped like a mouse. It was called mouse candy. Because of its strange name and new tricks, it attracted customers. Since then, Lu has been specializing in mouse candy business. Later, it was renamed Shuang Ren Run because of its indecent name. In the seventeenth year of Guangxu's lunar calendar, Ma Yi Temple in Xingang made a big farewell visit. Mr. Lu chose many Shuang Ren Runs to do business in Xingang. Because of the large number of pilgrims, Shuang Ren Runs business was very good and well received. Soon after, he moved to Xingang, built a wooden house in the east of Mazu Tempel, hung up the signboard of Jin Changli, and renamed Shuang Ren Runs "Xingang Yi", so Lu Qitou became the founder of Xingang Yi. After several improvements, Xingang's pulp became famous far and wide, and then several sister products such as Bajiao pulp (formerly known as Xiongjiao cake), longan pulp, grape pulp, plum pulp and plum pulp were created.
