Buyi tuhuabu

Zhouqin Town, known as the hometown of earth-flowered cloth, produced earth-flowered cloth by local Buyi women using high-quality cotton, using the original spinning wheel and wooden pedal loom, through the processes of spinning, dyeing, sizing, warp knitting, weaving, drying, splicing, flattening and finished products, it is a well-known original ecological textile in Sandu. The pure cotton texture, hand-weaving, and ethnic patterns of bed sheets and other products made of earth cloth not only have the use values of warm in winter and cool in summer, breathable and sweat-absorbent, antistatic, anti-mite, anti-itching, tireless edge, lint-free, metabolism-regulating, and effective defense against ultraviolet rays, but also have unique national cultural appreciation and collection value. In 1985, the county foreign trade company organized the production of tuhuabu in Zhouqin town, which exported 28,856 meters to Japan and earned more than 20,000 US dollars.
