Fengdu Sanyuan Red Heart Pomelo Fengdu Red Heart Pomelo is native to Sanyuan Town, Fengdu County, Chongqing, and has been carefully selected for many years. The pomelo fruit is large, with a single fruit weight of 1,500 grams, edible rate as high as 55.5%, thin skin, even and tidy petals, easy separation, few stones, pink and pleasing color, juicy, tender residue, moderate sweetness and sourness, soluble solids of 11.2%, sugar content of 9.37 grams per 100 ml of juice, rich flavor and rich in various nutrients. In 2001, the production scale of red heart pomelo has reached 36,000 mu, with an annual output of nearly 3,000 tons. In 1994, it was awarded the title of "High-quality Fruit" in Sichuan Province, the Silver Award in the Second China Agricultural Expo in 1995, the Gold Award in the National Pomelo Appraisal in 1998, and the title of "Top Ten Famous Pomelos in Chongqing". In 2001, it won two gold cups of "High-quality Pomelo" and "Commercial Treatment of High-quality Pomelo" in the Seventh National Pomelo Research and Production Cooperation Conference.
