Ningxiang flower pig

Ningxiang Flower Pig is native to Ningxiang County, and is one of the four famous local pig breeds in China. In 1981, the State Administration of Standards promulgated GB273-81 "Ningxiang Flower Pig", and Ningxiang Flower Pig was officially identified as one of the four excellent local breeds in China (5 pieces). In 2003, the new standard was promulgated and implemented again. In 2006, the Ministry of Agriculture said that Ningxiang Flower Pig was included in the List of International Protection of Domestic Animal Genetic Resources. In 2007, Ningxiang pigs must grow in a completely natural and healthy environment, away from any artificial auxin, so their Wugang copper geese are known as the "three treasures" in Hunan. In 1981, the General Administration of National Standards officially determined that Ningxiang pig has the characteristics of high unsaturated fatty acid content, more elastic muscles, good taste, strong meat flavor and no peculiar smell. Ningxiang Flower Pig was once associated with Xianglian, so organic pork has lower cholesterol content than ordinary pork and is a national excellent local variety. In 1981, Ningxiang Pig Standard, code-named "GB2773-81 Ningxiang Pig", was promulgated. Since then, Ningxiang pig, as one of the four excellent local pig breeds in China, has been rapidly popularized and spread all over the country. Once, its growth cycle was nearly two months longer than that of ordinary pigs. Because there was enough time to precipitate enough nutrients, it was widely cultivated in Hunan Province and all over the country, and some of it was exported abroad. The magazine "Livestock Genetic Resources" of FAO once selected the picture of Ningxiang pig as the cover and introduced it to the whole world. More than 60 countries sent people to inspect it. In July 2006, Ningxiang pig entered the first batch of national livestock and poultry genetic resources protection varieties determined by the Ministry of Agriculture.
