Yangxin Yinziba is a specialty of Yangxin County, Huangshi City, Hubei Province. The materials of Yinziba are very particular, with high-quality glutinous rice flour, yellow beans, peanuts, sesame seeds, lotus seeds and 0 sugar as the main raw materials, which are divided into salty and sweet varieties. Yinziba in Yangxin County has a history of more than a thousand years and is well known. Yangxin Yinziba is made twice a year. Once before the Spring Festival and once after the February Flower Festival. Lunar New Year begins on the 24th of the twelfth lunar month. Every household washes rice to make rice grains, sifts powder with sieve reeds, and makes marks with swabs. There are two kinds of cakes, one is sorghum cakes, red, which means that the days are getting more and more prosperous; One is white rice cake, which is red in the cake after steaming, representing harvest, celebration and holiness. During the Spring Festival, local people will steam and cook rice cakes to entertain guests, or give them to relatives and friends as gifts. There are also green marks, indicating that we hope that the weather will be good and the crops will be strong in the coming year. The most solemn thing for Yangxin people is to make Yinziba for the second time, from February 18 to March 3 of the lunar calendar. The production of Yinziba is particularly particular, with one white, two clear and three crisp. Mainly indica rice, mixed with appropriate amount of glutinous rice, ground into powder with glutinous rice, kneaded with sweet mountain spring water, printed into rice cake with rice cake, and steamed in a steamer. If the mountain is piled, it should be piled while it is hot, and it is not easy to pile up after cooling.
