Jiuhong Gongfu black tea is a specialty of pingnan county, Ningde City, Fujian Province. Pingnan black tea is a small variety of black tea, collectively known as "vulture red kung fu" black tea. The appearance is compact and heavy, the color is dark and oily, the soup color is brilliant red, the fragrance is mellow, or Gui Xiang or cypress is brought, and the entrance is refreshing and sweet, which is the top grade of small black tea. Pingnan is located in the northeast of Fujian Province, at the foot of Jiufeng Mountain. Pingnan county is rich in resources, rich in products, with rolling mountains, steep terrain, green trees, abundant rainfall, fertile soil and large temperature difference between day and night. In spring and summer, fog condenses in deep valleys and clouds lock high hills, which has obvious alpine climate characteristics, resulting in excellent natural quality of Pingnan tea. As early as the Tang and Song Dynasties, there were tea events in Pingnan area. The production of "Jiuhonggongfu" black tea began in the early Qing Dynasty, and the production, manufacture and sales of "Jiuhonggongfu" black tea reached its peak in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, becoming the largest economic product in pingnan county. The black tea produced in Pingnan in the early Qing dynasty was called "the race outside the mountain"; Among the many tea seals of Liuhechun of Zhou family in Shuangxi in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, there are cultural relics of small black tea such as "Xinshan race". Pingnan black tea mainly uses local lobular vegetable tea as raw material. Therefore, Pingnan black tea is a small variety of black tea, collectively known as "vulture red kung fu" black tea. Jiuhong Gongfu black tea is collected from the buds, leaves and tender stems of Pingnan mountain cloud tea tree. After withering, twisting, fermentation, drying and other processes, it is made into primary tea, and then it is made into grades through three processes and six procedures. Kung Fu black tea, which is characterized by tight, thin and straight appearance, moist color and unique alpine rhyme, has become the basic basis of vulture red Kung Fu black tea. According to the picking season, the grades of Jiuhong Gongfu black tea are classified as: Imperial Tea, Respect Tea, Ritual Tea, Grade I, Grade II and Grade III. The following are distinguished from the characteristics of season, appearance, aroma and taste, water color and leaf bottom. "Jiuhonggongfu" black tea is compact and heavy in appearance, dark and oily in color, brilliant red in soup color, mellow in fragrance, with Gui Xiang or cypress fragrance, and refreshing and sweet in entrance. It is a top grade of small-scale black tea and a strip-shaped black tea with the quality characteristics of alpine tea.
