Yongtai green tea

Yongtai green tea is tight and even in appearance, and its color is green and moist. The aroma is chestnut, fragrant with flowers, fresh and mellow, the soup is light green and bright, and the leaves are green and bright. Yongtai County has a long history of tea production, especially during the 1970s and the end of 1980s, the tea area and output accounted for 25.1% and 31.5% of the whole Fuzhou area respectively. Great progress has been made in tea garden area, tea output, promotion of improved varieties of tea trees and development of famous and excellent teas in our county since 1990s. Since 2002, our county has been at the forefront in the production of black tea and oolong tea and the construction of pollution-free tea gardens, and the tea industry has become a pillar industry in rural areas of our county, with an area of 35,000 mu in 2012. The total production area is 28,500 mu. The total output of tea is 3,500 tons (including 3,350 tons of green tea, 100 tons of oolong tea and 50 tons of black tea), with a total output value of 100 million yuan.
