Shi tai Xiang ya

"Shitai Xiangya" is a public brand of green tea in shitai county, which is deeply loved by consumers because of its compact and even appearance, strong buds, light green soup color, long aroma and fresh magnetic taste. I. Conditions of Origin (i) Scope of Origin shitai county has a total area of 1,403 square kilometers, with a total area of 80,000 mu of tea gardens and an output of about 2,500 tons. The origin of "Shitai Xiangya" is specifically distributed in 13 towns and villages in this county, including Ketian, Zhanda, Liudu, Qidu, Hengduan, Dayan, Qili, Jitan, Gongxi, Qijing, Lilac, Xiaohe and Shentian, with a geographical location of 117 16' ~ 117 59' east longitude and 29 59' ~ 30 north latitude. (II) Environmental conditions "Shitai Xiangya" tea garden is mostly distributed in hills and middle-low mountains with an altitude of 300-1000m, with rich biodiversity, with a forest coverage rate of 80.9%. The soil is mainly red and yellow soil developed from acidic crystalline rock or argillaceous rock differentiation, which is acidic to slightly acidic (pH 5.5-6.8), with medium organic matter content and rich nutrition. The climate belongs to the monsoon climate zone on the northern edge of subtropical zone, with four distinct seasons, mild climate and abundant rainfall, which is very suitable for tea production, especially the conditions of abundant rainfall, large temperature difference between day and night and short sunshine are conducive to the formation of excellent tea quality. Shitai Xiangya Anhui shitai county Tea Industry Association shitai county Xianyu Town, Qidu Town, Hengdu Town, Dayan Township, Renli Town and Lilac Town has 6 townships and 38 villages.
