Dazhuang bean paste

Dazhuang bean paste is a specialty of Dazhuang Town, Sixian County, Suzhou City, Anhui Province. In 1991, the bean paste produced by the bean paste factory in Dazhuang Town won the "Golden Running Horse Award" at the National Famous, Special and Excellent Products Expo held by the Ministry of Commerce in Shanghai. Dazhuang bean paste began in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, and Xie Zicheng, a famous teacher in Zhenjiang, personally guided it. As early as 1850, this paste was given to the Qing Palace as a tribute by Emperor Daoguang, and then became a common condiment in imperial kitchens. It was exported to the former Soviet Union and various countries in Southeast Asia. This product is delicious, rich in reducing sugar protein and various amino acids, which can stimulate appetite and help digestion, and is favored by consumers.
