Throughout the ages, guests from far and near have always been quick to taste puffer fish. According to legend, Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty ate puffer fish and boiled puffer garlic, which cured his stomach trouble for many years. There is a beautiful legend about mackerel. A long time ago, there was a long drought and no rain in the area around Mackerel City. The ditches and rivers were dry, and the crops were not harvested. The people had a hard life. They sang operas and kowtowed for rain at the bottom of Chenghe River. One day, a Taoist in yellow robe came and said, "The earth and the river reach the sky, as long as your heart is firm." The people knelt on the ground and begged for rain. Road flyover Huang Pao came to the bottom of the river, dug up the ground to see the water, scooped up the entrance of the water, and sprayed it into the air. Suddenly, dark clouds rolled, thunder and lightning flashed, and it rained heavily, and soon the ditch was full of water. People cheered and danced in the rain. In a moment, the clouds cleared and the rain cleared. Looking for the Taoist, I saw a glittering dragon, leaving from the Chenghe River. People all thought that the old road was transformed by the dragon, so they bowed down to the sky. When the golden dragon looked back and looked down, its huge body shook and several pieces of gold scales fell into the river. Since then, there has been a golden puffer fish in the ancient Yangcheng River. Now the puffer fish in the town of Linquan County became extinct in the 1950s and 1960s. Its magical legend has spread a lot in the countryside, and only the garlic has been planted so far.
