Dingyuan black pig

Dingyuan Black Pig is a specialty of Dingyuan County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. Dingyuan black pig has the excellent characteristics of high fertility, good maternity, strong resistance to stress and disease, good meat quality and rough feeding resistance. Dingyuan Black Pig is one of the 31 excellent local pig breeds in China, and it is also the largest, most widely distributed and most influential local pig breed in Anhui Province at present. It has excellent characteristics such as strong adaptability, high reproduction rate, high lean meat rate and delicious meat quality. In history, the bridge tail pickled with Dingyuan pig participated in Panama Expo and was highly praised by international friends. Since Dingyuan County was listed as the national commercial lean pig production base county in 1987, the county has used Dingyuan pig resources, introduced improved varieties, and vigorously promoted the production of "Sanyuan" hybrid pigs, which has accelerated the development of pig production in the county and has become a pillar industry in aquaculture.
