Chrysanthemum is one of the earliest famous flowers in ancient books in China. There is a record in The Book of Rites, The Moon Order, that "the moon in season and autumn is full of yellow flowers". It has been cultivated for more than 3,000 years. As early as the Tang Dynasty, China's chrysanthemum was spread to Japan by North Korea, which won the Japanese people's cherish and was called "Tanghua". After the 17th century, it spread to Europe and America, and became one of the world's precious flowers all over the world. Chrysanthemum is not only appreciated by people for its gorgeous and elegant charm, secretly floating fragrance and proud spirit, but also used as medicine. Chu Ju, Florists Chrysanthemum and Bo Ju in our province are all famous medicinal materials. Chrysanthemum is slightly cold, sweet and bitter, and can dispel wind and heat, reduce fire and detoxify, clear liver and improve eyesight, inhibit bacteria and lower blood pressure. Chrysanthemum contains a large number of stevioside, volatile oil, flavonoids and vitamins, etc. It can be used to make tea as a refreshing drink in hot days, which can clear away heat and relieve summer heat, disperse internal heat, calm the liver and improve eyesight. Gongju is produced in Huizhou (now Shexian) and Wuchuan area in Xiuning Lantian. The flowers are white or yellowish, the petals (tongue-shaped flowers) are densely arranged, and the pedicels are green, which is also called "green pedicel chrysanthemum". According to legend, at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, Zhao Qi, the emperor of Duzong, ignored the harassment of the north for years, became dissolute, abandoned the administration of state affairs, and made the people miserable and complained bitterly. When he saw this, he fled angrily and hid the people. The bad king sent his soldiers and horses to count the roads and search separately. One of the soldiers and horses chased after Jinzhuling in Shexian County, and the other chased after Wuchuan in Lantian, Xiuning. I saw people in Wuchuan Mountain, where every family planted chrysanthemums and a sea of flowers. Because I didn't catch the palace princess, I made a living by touching the scenery, and asked the local officials to choose and draw all kinds of chrysanthemum maps and take them back to the court for a job. Therefore, the chrysanthemums in Xiuning and Shexian are called "Florists Chrysanthemum". Today, the tribute chrysanthemum in Xiuning Lantian has been introduced from the mountains to the low slopes and pastoral areas. The planting area of tribute chrysanthemum in the town has developed from 2000 mu in 2002 to 10440 mu in 2007. In the season when chrysanthemums are in full bloom, it especially shows the beauty of harmony between nature and humanity. Overlooking the low slope and looking at the countryside, there is an ocean of flowers everywhere. Being there is like a person walking in the sea and a car walking in the sea. In the last twenty years, in the process of adjusting the agricultural industrial structure, Lantian Chrysanthemum is well-known at home and abroad for its beautiful flowers and thousands of miles of fragrance, which is favored by the world and has become the "Garden of Eden" for tourism, leisure and film writers to seek inspiration and create enthusiastically.
