Tongcheng xiaohuacha

Tongcheng Xiaohua Tea is a specialty of Tongcheng City, Anqing City, Anhui Province. Tongcheng Xiaohua Tea has a stretched shape, complete buds and leaves, and looks like orchids. It is green in color and clear in soup, with fresh and lasting aroma, orchid fragrance and mellow, fresh and sweet taste. Tongcheng Xiaohua Tea won the national geographical indication certification trademark. Tongcheng City is located in the middle of Anhui Province, where Longmian Mountain belongs to the southeast branch of Huoshan Mountain, with high peaks and deep valleys, and wild bluegrass fills the hillside. The elevation of the mountain peak is 400-1000m, the annual average temperature is 16 degrees Celsius, the annual average precipitation is 1200mm, the precipitation is concentrated in June and July, the relative humidity is over 70%, and the frost-free period is 237 days. Tea areas are mostly sandy soil and sandy loam, with a pH of 5-6.5. The microclimate in the area is suitable for producing high-quality tea, and the Tongcheng floret has a long-standing reputation. Tongcheng has a long history of growing tea. It is recorded in the history that Lu Shangong (Sun Jin), a great master of the Ming Dynasty, got different tea seeds during his official tour and planted the pepper garden in Longmian Mountain. As a result, Jiaoyuan tea, together with Gu Zhu and Meng Ding, ranks among the "tributes" and is called Jiaoyuan tea. It is also called "Tongcheng Xiaohua" because it looks like the first flower after brewing. Tongcheng Xiaohua, also known as Xiaolan scented tea, belongs to Anhui broccoli tea line. Generally, it is mined in front of Grain Rain, and one bud with two or three leaves is selected. The plump, even and fluffy bud leaves are refined by spreading, deactivating enzymes, trimming, primary drying, spreading and cooling, re-drying, picking and other processes. Every 500g of finished tea has 8,000-10,000 buds. The finished tea has a stretched shape, complete bud leaves, orchid-like shape, green color and clear soup, fresh and lasting aroma, orchid fragrance, mellow, fresh and sweet taste. Products are divided into special grade, first grade, second grade and third grade. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, "Tongcheng Xiaohua" was repeatedly awarded as a tribute by the imperial court. In 1983, it won the honorary certificate of the Ministry of Economic Relations and Trade at the National Export Commodities Exhibition, and was awarded the title of high-quality famous tea in Anhui Province in 1986. In 1991, it won the Silver Award of the National Spark Science and Technology Achievements Expo, and was awarded the title of recommended product of famous brand at the China International Famous Tea, Tea Products and Tea Culture Exhibition in 1998, and was recognized as a famous brand product at the China International Agricultural Expo in 1999. In 2012, approved by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, "Tongcheng Xiaohua Tea" won the certification mark of chinese national geography.
