Chengling Black Pig is a specialty of Taihu County, Anqing City, Anhui Province. Chenglingshan black pig is Anqing Liubai pig, formerly known as Taihu Liubai pig, commonly known as "Liuhua pig". Its whole body is black and hairy, and it is named because the forehead, limbs and tail are white. Chenglingshan black pig is a national rare livestock and poultry protection breed. The inborn black pig breed with noble gene is characterized by "six flowers and seven stars", that is, there are six flowers on the forehead, tail and limbs, and seven black spots in the shape of a big dipper on the front hoof. It has the characteristics of rough feeding resistance, strong stress resistance and disease resistance, and the meat taste is the best in pork, which is "fresher without monosodium glutamate". The breeding base of Chenglingshan Black Pig is located in Chenglingshan Mountain, which is more than 700 meters above sea level, far away from pollution sources. The air is fresh, the temperature difference between day and night is large, and the climate is suitable. Especially in summer, the temperature is 3-5 degrees lower than that below the mountain. It is a rare natural oxygen bar, especially suitable for pig growth. The feed used by Chenglingshan black pig is mainly coarse grass grains, and no hormone additives are applicable. The mixed fermented feed such as organic corn, soybean and rice skin grown by local farmers is fed once a day, and the feeding cycle takes 11 months. Chenglingshan black pig does not seek high yield and quality, but satisfies the pig's living habits, sleeps in dreams, listens to light music, can play with energy arches, keeps the house warm in winter and cool in summer, and gives pigs the best welfare to make them grow happily. The unique ecological environment is integrated with the high technology of modern fermentation bed, and there is no fly, insect and ammonia smell in the house, which eliminates the occurrence of mouth, foot and respiratory diseases, so it can produce high-quality pork without resistance and residue and can pass the certification of meat organic food. The Chinese painting standard of pork water content is 77%, and the quality of drinking water is the most critical factor to determine the quality of pork. The Chenglingshan Black Pig Base uses natural mountain spring water which can be directly drunk by people and animals and is rich in minerals, and the clear water flows all year round.
