Taihu Hongguang chestnut

Taihu Hongguang chestnut is a specialty of Taihu County, Anqing City, Anhui Province. Taihu Hongguang chestnut has a long history of cultivation, bright color, excellent taste, less pests and diseases, and storage resistance. Hongguang chestnut, also known as big red light and small red light (also known as early red light and late red light), is a forestry fist product in Taihu County. In 1999, it was identified as a good variety of forest trees by Anhui Provincial Forest Tree Seed Committee and named Hongguang Chestnut (series). At present, the county's red chestnut cultivation area is 250,000 mu, with an annual output of 8,000 tons. It has a wide sales market and is deeply loved by consumers.
