Datong ginger

Datong ginger, produced in Xinjian, Dongdian and other places, is the top grade produced in Shejia Courtyard and Jinhua Village. Because it used to be a tribute, most of it was sold in Datong or sold to Wuhan, Shanghai and other cities along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River through Datong, so it was commonly called "Datong Ginger". Datong ginger has the characteristics of big skin, thin skin, more juice and less residue, fine and crisp meat, strong fragrance and so on. Since it became "tribute ginger" in the Song Dynasty, it has been famous all over the country.
