Fengdanpi

Fenghuangshan Village is located in the southeast of Shun 'an Town, covering an area of 33 square kilometers. Fengdan planting is the leading agricultural industry in the local area, and "Tongfeng Brand Fengdanpi" has won the title of provincial high-quality brand-name agricultural products for many times, so Tongling was awarded "Fengdan Base in South China" by the Ministry of Agriculture and "Hometown of Medicinal Fengdan in China" by the State Forestry Administration, and Fengdan in Tongling has been recognized as a national geographical indication. At present, the planting area of Fengdan in the village is more than 2,000 mu, and there are nearly 2,000 people engaged in planting, processing and selling Fengdan. In 2005-2007, the village successfully cooperated with Wanxi Pharmaceutical Factory in Henan and Tongrentang Pharmaceutical Factory in Beijing to organize and implement the "Fengdan Mudan Seedling Cultivation Base" and established a long-term product sales business network. In 2008, "Tongling Phoenix Peony Planting Cooperative" was established, which made the construction and development of "one village, one product" on a virtuous circle track, and the benefits of increasing farmers' production and income were obvious. In 2010, the per capita net income of farmers was 7,300 yuan, ranking in the forefront of Shun 'an Town. In 2007, it was awarded "Fengdan Planting Professional Demonstration Village" by the Provincial Agriculture Committee, "One Village, One Product" by the Tongling Agriculture Committee in 2008, and "Top Ten Villages" in Anhui Province in 2009.
