Panji district has a national intangible cultural heritage-Flower Drum Lantern Art.. Flower Drum Lantern is a comprehensive art form which is spread in more than 20 counties and cities in four provinces of Huaihe River Basin, and dance is the main component. It has dances, songs, percussion music such as gongs and drums, and plays with simple plots. It is the most complete and systematic folk song and dance art form created by Han people, the most representative and typical folk dance of Han people, and it has the richest and systematic dance language system in the world, and it is one of the most popular folk dances in the world that can express complex plots and characters with body language, and is known as "Oriental Ballet". Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the epidemic area of Huagu Lantern has gradually expanded, mainly focusing on Bengbu, Huainan, Fuyang and Haozhou in Anhui Province, and radiating to more than 20 counties and cities in Anhui, Henan, Shandong and Jiangsu provinces in the middle reaches of Huaihe River. Especially in Huaiyuan County, Yuhui District, Bengbu, Anhui, Fengtai County, panji district County, and Yingshang County, Fuyang, farmers have been playing with lanterns for generations, men, women and children, and there are lantern classes in every village. Panji district is adjacent to Huaiyuan in the east and Fengtai in the west, which is in the hinterland and center of the popular area of Huagu Lantern. On the front line of Huai (Yuan) Feng (Taiwan), two old artists of Hua Gu Deng are very famous, known as "two ones". One is Chen Jingzhi, a "one line" in Fengtai County, and the other is Wang Kaoqian, a farmer in Jiagou Township, panji district. In December 2008, Jiagou Township was named as "the first batch of China folk culture and art hometown" by the Ministry of Culture.
