Miaotai Village is located in the south of Meiqiao Township, Huaishang District, with a population of 2,580 and a land area of 4,841 mu, including 4,500 mu of cultivated land. Agricultural production is mainly based on continuous cropping of green beans and garlic, and it is an important production base of green beans in Huaishang District. In recent years, the village has vigorously developed the deep processing industry of agricultural products around leading industries such as green beans. At present, there are 50 rural cooperative economic organizations in Anhui Province-Bengbu Daqingdou Association and a leading agricultural industrialization enterprise in Bengbu-Anda Company, which has a 300-ton quick-freezing warehouse, a 2,000-ton cold storage, a quick-freezing production line with a daily processing capacity of 200 tons of Daqingdou and a 20-ton garlic oil processing line. The village has initially formed an industrialization pattern of "production, processing and marketing" and "integration of trade, industry and agriculture", which has driven the surrounding farmers to develop 55,000 mu of green beans and garlic production, which can increase farmers' income by more than 15 million yuan annually. In 2010, the per capita net income of farmers in the village reached 9,300 yuan.
