Songyang navel orange

Songyang navel orange is a specialty of Songyang in Lishui, Zhejiang Province. Songyang navel orange production started in 1992, and Songyang navel orange was established as the leading agricultural industry in Songyang County in 1995. Songyang navel orange has the characteristics of large fruit, bright color, thin skin, crisp quality, fleshy residue, rich juice, rich flavor, storage and transportation resistance, etc. At present, the total area of Songyang navel orange has grown to nearly 30,000 mu, with an annual output of more than 5,000 tons and an annual output value of 13 million yuan, ranking first in Zhejiang Province in terms of production scale and benefits. Songyang County was named "Zhejiang Navel Orange Town" by Zhejiang Forestry Department in 2001. Since 2000, Songyang Navel Orange has successively won the Gold Award of Famous Citrus in China Specialty Town Agricultural Products Fair, the Gold Award of Zhejiang Agricultural Expo, the Green Safe Nutrition Label Product of Zhejiang Province, the Gold Award of China Zhejiang Citrus Expo, and the famous brand agricultural products of Zhejiang Province. It passed the green food certification of China in December 2002, and has been exported to Japan for seven consecutive years since 2004. Songyang navel orange was awarded as one of the "Ten Treasures of Chuzhou" agricultural products in Lishui City in 2011.
