Linhai broccoli

The vast coastal plain, fertile land and unique climate conditions in winter and spring in Zhejiang Province make the broccoli grow especially prosperous here. In 2003, Linhai was awarded the title of "hometown of broccoli in China", and then the planting area was expanded year by year, reaching 50,000 mu in 2000 and 80,000 mu in 2009. The yield per mu reached more than 3,600 yuan, with an annual output of 120,000 tons. The products accounted for 50% of the total broccoli in Zhejiang and 25% of the whole country, making it the largest broccoli production center in winter and spring in China and an important international broccoli production base. On February 21st, 2010, "Linhai Broccoli" was successfully registered as a geographical indication certification trademark. Linhai broccoli is a geographical indication certification trademark.
