Penglai Xianzhi is one of the traditional famous teas in Zhejiang Province, which is produced in Daishan Island, Daishan County. Picked fresh tea has to go through five processes, such as fixing, kneading, spreading, drying, baking and frying. In 1979, Penglai Xianzhi in Daishan was awarded as a famous tea in Zhejiang Province at the provincial famous tea judging meeting.
