Gaoting Town Salt Field is one of the key salt fields in Daishan County, with excellent salt quality and high first-class product rate. The average sodium chloride content is 91.24%, the average whiteness is 58.57%, and the average particle size is 91.41%. It has the characteristics of fine white particles, fine taste and instant solubility, and is known throughout the country as Dai salt. It has been listed as tribute salt since the Song Dynasty. Daishan salt is a geographical indication certification trademark.
