Xiyan

Xiyan has a history of more than 1000 years. From the Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, Xiyan was always regarded as an offering of the imperial court. Xiyan, also known as Purple Stone inkstone, is one of the traditional famous inkstones. Yanshan Creek originated in Xixi, Jiangxi Province, and originally belonged to Quzhou Prefecture, which was called "Xi 'an" in ancient times, hence the name "Xiyan". Xiyan began in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. The west inkstone is green, the mountain is purple, and the best one is quite moist, among which pig liver is the best color. The west inkstone is as strong and moist as an inkstone because of its material and art, and the most precious one is the "purple robe jade belt", that is, there is a white belt in the purple stone.
