Product history: Dongyang grass silk was planted in the early Qing Dynasty, with a history of more than 260 years. Trigonella was planted at that time. The newly revised dongyang county annals written by Kangxi in Qing dynasty recorded that "the grass silk is triangular in shape, and a good weaver is worth half of the mat". In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Luo Zushun, a farmer from Yacun Village, Xingxian Township (now Fangjun Town), introduced Gracilaria lemaneiformis from Huangyan. After successful trial planting, it was popularized in an all-round way, replacing Sparganum tricornutum.
