Pan 'an Ecological Longjing is a specialty of Pan 'an County, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province. Pan 'an ecological Longjing tea is flat and beautiful in appearance, smooth and even, bright in color, noble and fresh in aroma, fresh and refreshing in taste, and bright in soup color. Pan' an County is located in the middle of Zhejiang Province, with rolling mountains, beautiful scenery, misty all the year round and excellent ecological environment. In 2000, Pan' an was listed as the first batch of national ecological demonstration zones, and in 2002 it was named as the hometown of ecological Longjing tea. Pan 'an has produced tea since ancient times. According to legend, Xu Xun, a Taoist priest of Jin Dynasty, preached in Yushan Mountain in Pan 'an, drank very mellow tea in a tea farmer, and then lingered. At that time, tea farmers were frowning because of unsalable tea. When Xu Xun saw this mountain full of tea trees and mountains of tea, he decided to stay and help tea farmers solve this problem. So he taught tea farmers to improve the tea processing technology, keep the green original material and white hair characteristics, and made "Wuzhou Dongbai", while sending Taoists to lobby for tea everywhere. Since then, tea merchants from all over the world have come to buy it, and the demand for tea in Yushan is in short supply, so the ancient tea farm in Yushan has become the earliest tea trading market in Pan 'an. In the Tang Dynasty, the "Wuzhou Dongbai" collected in the Dapanshan area was listed as a tribute. The well-preserved Yushan Ancient Tea Farm in Pan 'an, which was built in Yuqing, Song Zhongxiu, covers an area of 3,000 square meters and is the only surviving ancient tea farm in China. On May 25th, 2006, Yushan Ancient Tea Farm, as an ancient building in Qing Dynasty, was approved by the State Council to be included in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. To commemorate Xu Xun's contribution to tea farmers, Yushan tea farmers built a temple at the foot of the tea farm to commemorate him, and there was a temple fair every year. In 2007, the total area of tea in Pan 'an County was 64,000 mu, with a total output of 2,123 tons and a total output value of 140.13 million yuan. Among them, the output of famous and excellent tea, mainly Longjing tea, is 1212 tons, with an output value of 99.38 million yuan, accounting for 53% of the total tea output and 94% of the total tea output. 25% of farmers' per capita income comes from tea, especially in Yushan area, a key tea-producing area. According to the announcement of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine on October 26, 2001, Yushan area in Pan 'an County was designated as the Longjing tea original area protection area. On January 8th, 2002, Pan 'an County Government officially declared the title of "China Pan 'an Ecological Longjing Tea Town" to the organizing committee of the recommendation and publicity activities of China specialty town. In mid-March, it was approved by the organizing Committee. On April 8th, the Organizing Committee and the Specialty Economic Committee of China Agricultural Society officially named Pan 'an County as "China Pan 'an Ecological Longjing Tea Town", and Pan 'an County became the first county (city) in China to receive this title.
