The tie industry in Shengzhou, which is booming, originated from the rise of "suit fever" in the mainland at the beginning of reform and opening up. In 1985, Lu Lu, a Hong Kong businessman from Shengzhou, seized the opportunity to set up the first tie enterprise in Shengzhou, Zhejiang Jiayou Tie Co., Ltd., which became the first "fire" of ties in Shengzhou and the first Sino-foreign joint venture in Zhejiang Province. Since then, a single spark has gradually spread into a prairie fire in Shengzhou, and one tie enterprise after another has appeared in Shengzhou. China necktie city also rose, and changed and developed three times, which laid a solid foundation for expanding the sales of neckties. At present, ties in Shengzhou live in more than half of China. According to the annual output of ties in Shengzhou, four out of every five China men wear ties in Shengzhou. One out of every three "foreigners" who wear suits is dressed by Shengzhou tie. So people in Shengzhou began to paint a more magnificent blueprint: building Shengzhou into an international tie city. Simple quality expansion can't create an "international tie city". The key is to achieve new breakthroughs in quality and brand. Therefore, people in Shengzhou spent huge sums of money to introduce a number of world-class weaving and finishing equipment, which made the necktie production technology and fabric quality approach the world level. As a kind of clothing, the vitality of tie depends on the variety of colors. Shengzhou now has the ability to produce 1000 tie patterns per day and complete the design to a product in 24 hours. As a result of the improvement of product quality, more than 80 famous clothing enterprises at home and abroad were attracted to Shengzhou to order and process ties. Goldlion came, crocodile came, Warren Tiannu came, and Pierre Cardin came. However, "creating a brand is golden", the tie enterprises in Shengzhou are not satisfied with earning meager processing profits, but strive to create their own brands and maximize benefits. Among the 13 China necktie brands recently rated by China Garment Association, 12 brands such as Babe, Maidilang and Jintiande are from Shengzhou, and only one Texaco originated in Beijing, which is a company run by people from Shengzhou. Not only that, the revolution of the tie industry in Shengzhou also triggered a transnational transfer of the tie industry. Tie enterprises in South Korea, Japan and Italy have moved their production bases to Shengzhou one after another, and South Korea alone has set up eight wholly-owned and joint ventures in Shengzhou. One third of the neckties sold in Japan are produced in Shengzhou. At present, there are more than 30 ties and related enterprises established by foreign countries in Shengzhou.
