Bamboo economy is the pillar industry and economic growth point of Anji. In recent years, we have made a fuss about the development of bamboo resources and implemented the economic development strategy of trade, workers and peasants and export-oriented bamboo industry, and made gratifying steps. In the deep processing of Phyllostachys pubescens, we have made bold exploration and deep development, and formed more than 700 varieties in five series, including bamboo sleeping mat, bamboo glue board, bamboo cushion, bamboo handicrafts and bamboo cultural and sports supplies. The products sell well at home and abroad. By-products include medicinal fresh bamboo juice, bamboo root carving, root products, wool, old silk, broom, handle bamboo, white bamboo, bamboo charcoal and fishing rod.
