Deqing qingxia

Deqing Shrimp is a specialty of Deqing County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Macrobrachium nipponense is the dominant species in aquaculture in Deqing County, accounting for about a quarter of the output of Macrobrachium nipponense in Zhejiang Province, and it is one of the important aquaculture bases in China. China Fishery Association named Deqing County as "the hometown of freshwater shrimp in China". The shrimp industry in Deqing County has developed rapidly, and the brand of "water sprite" has been established. The county has established two specialized markets for shrimp, Sanhe and Zhongguan, and several trading points. This year, the shrimp culture area in paddy fields in the county has reached 90,152 mu, and the shrimp culture area in paddy fields has accounted for 34.1% of the total paddy field area of 265,000 mu in the county. Among them, the shrimp culture area in Sanhe, Wu Kang, Ganshan and Zhongguan has exceeded 10,000 mu. It is estimated that the total output of shrimp in the county will reach 4,500 tons and the total income will reach 160 million yuan this year. Sanhe township is the key town of freshwater shrimp culture in Deqing county, and it is also the demonstration base of freshwater shrimp culture in the county. There are 17,627 mu of paddy fields in the township, and the area of shrimp culture reaches 13,121 mu, accounting for 74.43%. This year, the output of freshwater shrimp in Sanhe township can reach 750 tons, with an output value of 27 million yuan, including the total output value of related industries of 37 million yuan, and the total net income can reach 24 million yuan, which can increase the net income of the township by 1,200 yuan.
