Shuanglin descendants cake

Huzhou traditional famous spot. In 1905, Wang Shuangxi, a native of Nanjing, opened a shop in Huzhou and made a cake out of rice flour, which was named descendants cake. It means "children and grandchildren are promoted step by step." Later, it was operated by Zhang Ji' an. The making method of descendants cake has been improved many times, and it has been widely circulated so far, and it has become a gift for engagement, marriage and birthday celebration in Huzhou.
