Six-tower turtle

Six-tower turtle is a specialty of Yaozhuang Town, Jiashan County, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. Six-tower soft-shelled turtle belongs to the Chinese soft-shelled turtle in Taihu Lake system, with symmetrical small black round flower spots on its back, oily green body color, wide skirt and gray-black block flower spots on its abdomen, commonly known as "Jiangnan soft-shelled turtle". Six-tower soft-shelled turtle is rich in Dingzha Town, Jiashan County, which is the "hometown of soft-shelled turtle in Zhejiang Province". In 2001, Dingzha Town (now merged into Yaozhuang Town) was named as "hometown of soft-shelled turtle" by Zhejiang Marine Fisheries Bureau, and the base was named as "Zhejiang Provincial High-quality and Efficient Aquaculture Demonstration Base" by the provincial people's government. In 2001, Liuta turtle was appraised as "famous brand product" in China International Agricultural Expo, and in 2003, it was appraised as "famous brand product" in Zhejiang Province. In 2011, Liuta Turtle was awarded the title of "China Famous Turtle" by China Fisheries Association and became one of the eight famous turtles in China.
