Ruian Qingming early C. sinensis cv. Rui 'an-Qingming Zao clone. Shrub-type, mesophyll, especially early-growing species. Diploid. Origin and distribution: It originated from Pandai Township, Ruian City, Zhejiang Province, and was bred by local tea farmers. Mainly distributed in this city and some tea areas in Zhejiang. In 1992, Zhejiang Crop Variety Approval Committee recognized it as a provincial variety. Characteristics: Medium-sized plants, half-spread, dense branches, and inclined or horizontal leaves. The leaves are oval in shape, green in color, slightly raised, slightly folded in, with microwave at the leaf edge, tapering tip, medium teeth and soft leaves. Bud leaves are green with purple, with little fuzz, and one bud with three leaves weighs 61.9g g. Corolla diameter is 3.5 ~ 3.7 cm, petals are 7, ovary is medium hairy, and style is 3-lobed. Characteristics: Bud leaves have strong fertility and moderate tenderness. One bud and one Ye Sheng period is in the middle of March. The output is medium, reaching 100kg per 667 square meters. The dry sample of one bud and two leaves of spring tea contains about 3.9% amino acids, 19.9% tea polyphenols and 3.3% caffeine. Suitable for making green tea, flat tea or Mao Feng tea, with yellow-green color, high aroma, mellow and fresh taste. Moderate cold resistance. Cutting has strong fertility. Suitable planting area: Zhejiang tea area. Key points of cultivation: it is advisable to plant and cut according to the specifications of single planting or double planting tea garden. Attention should be paid to timely prevention and control of mites during the peak period from July to September. Tea garden management in autumn should be carried out earlier. "Qingming Zao" tea tree is one of the three early-growing clones in Wenzhou, and farmers in Rui 'an have a long history of planting this tea. Morphological characteristics: It belongs to the early middle-leaf shrub type, with tall tree potential, half-spread tree posture, dense branches, inclined or horizontally planted leaves, with an average length of 9.52 cm and an amplitude of 4 .05 cm, oval leaves, slightly wrinkled leaves, 5-9 pairs of veins, gradually pointed tips and green leaves.
