Litchi is deeply rooted because its branches are weak when ripe, so it can't be picked, so it can only be cut off with a knife. Therefore, Litchi is favored by the ancients because of its beautiful image, delicate quality and extraordinary, and it is called "fairy fruit on earth" and "Buddha fruit". There are many kinds of litchi, such as: March red, cinnamon green, frozen fruit and glutinous rice paste. Litchi pulp contains glucose as high as 66%, and also contains nutrients such as protein, vitamins, organic acids, fruit acids and a large amount of free amino acids. Chinese medicine believes that litchi tastes sour and has the functions of promoting fluid production to quench thirst, invigorating qi and nourishing blood, regulating qi and relieving pain, etc., especially for diseases such as physical weakness, deficiency of qi and blood, stomachache, deficiency of stomach yang, thirst and dry throat after illness, which has magical medical care. Severe hypoglycemia symptoms such as dizziness and coma will occur, commonly known as "litchi disease". China is the earliest country to cultivate litchi in the world, and Guangdong is the earliest in China.
