Bilian zaoxiangyou

Bilian Zaoxiangyou is a specialty of Bilian Town, Yongjia County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Yongjia Zaoxiangyou has a regular fruit shape, gourd-shaped appearance, orange color, crisp and tender meat, less sweetness and acidity, and high nutritional value. Its vitamin C content ranks first among fruits, and it is also known as "natural canned food". Zaoxiangyou is an early-maturing variety selected by agricultural technicians in Yongjia County in 1984 from excellent pomelo plants. It is a famous and characteristic fruit in Yongjia County. Because Zaoxiangyou matures very early (listed at the end of September and the beginning of October), it has beautiful fruit shape, orange color, strong aroma, crisp and tender meat, sweet and sour flavor and sugar content of more than 13%. It is the leader of early-maturing pomelo in China and can be called "the first morning pomelo in China". Yongjia County has cultivated pomelo for more than 1000 years. In 2009, Yongjia County was awarded the title of "Hometown of China Zaoxiang Pomelo". At present, the production of Zaoxiang pomelo in Yongjia County has begun to take shape, forming scientific cultivation, standardized production and industrialized operation. The cultivation area of Zaoxiang pomelo has reached more than 20,000 mu, with an annual output of 7,000 tons and an annual output of more than 50 million yuan.
