According to the genealogy of Pan Shi in Shuiduikeng Village, at the end of Yuan Dynasty, ancestors of Zeya fled from Nanping, Fujian Province to avoid the war, and also brought papermaking. "Nanping Paper" also became "Zeya Screen Paper". After the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were nearly 100,000 paper farmers in Zeya, accounting for about 80% of the local population, and they became the mainstay of the local economy. In the 1940s, Zeya Screen Paper successively entered Shanghai, Shandong, Taiwan Province and Southeast Asia. After liberation, the government set up "Screen Paper Purchase Station" and "Wenzhou Screen Paper Production and Marketing Cooperation Committee" successively. At that time, Zeya was covered with screen paper all over the mountains and plains. Under the sunlight, the mountains and mountains were golden, and the old people liked to call them paper mountains. Therefore, locals often say that "screen paper can support the family". There are more than 70 processes to produce screen paper, some of which are even more primitive than those recorded in Tiangong Kaiwu (Ming Song Yingxing). In 2001, the State Council announced the typical representative of Screen Paper Workshop-Silianzhai Paper Workshop, which was the fifth batch of national key cultural protection units.
