Sijiyou

Cangnan County, Zhejiang Province has a long history of cultivation and excellent quality. As early as the mid-18th century, it was known as the "famous immortal fruit" and was listed as a "tribute" of the Qing court. The average fruit weight of Siji pomelo is 1kg, which is medium-sized. The fruit has beautiful appearance, very fine peel, tender and crisp meat, rich flavor, delicious taste and storage resistance. It has the medicinal effects of promoting digestion and detoxicating, reducing fire and diuresis, nourishing yin and blood, moistening lung and relieving cough, lowering blood pressure and beautifying face. Since 1985, it has been continuously rated as high-quality fruit by the Ministry of Agriculture; from 1990 to 1999, it has been awarded the National Pomelo Gold Cup Award for six consecutive times; in 1992, it was awarded the title of "Green Food" by the Ministry of Agriculture; in 1995, it was awarded the gold medal of the second China Agricultural Expo; and "Mazhan Brand" Four Seasons Pomelo was recognized as "China Famous Brand Product" at the Beijing '99 China International Agricultural Expo. The existing Sijiyou base is 31,000 mu, with an annual output of 6,000 tons of fresh fruit and 1,000 tons of juice.
