Fritillaria zhangshuiensis

Fritillaria zhangshui is a specialty of zhangshui town, Yinzhou district, Ningbo city, Zhejiang province. Zhangshui Town is the main producing area of Fritillaria thunbergii in China, accounting for more than half of the national total, and was named "the hometown of Fritillaria thunbergii in China" by the naming committee of China specialty. Zhangshui Town is located in Siming Mountain area in the west of Yinxi. There are 20 administrative villages and a residents' association in the town, with an administrative area of 146 square kilometers, an area of 12,000 mu of cultivated land and a population of more than 28,000. The town has a long history of producing Fritillaria thunbergii, which is famous all over the country. It is a protected area of Fritillaria thunbergii origin, and it is also the "hometown of Fritillaria thunbergii in China". The town's existing Fritillaria thunbergii base covers an area of more than 4,000 mu, producing more than 1.2 million Jin of commercial Fritillaria every year, which is the main source of income for farmers in this town.
