Yinzhou District is the main producing area of snow cabbage, and the planting scope of snow cabbage covers 11 towns (streets), 78 villages and more than 9,000 farmers, among which Qiu Ai snow cabbage is the most famous. In the early 1990s, after Qiuyi and Qiuer villages took the lead in developing soft packaging products and raw juice of snow vegetables, the snow vegetable processing industry in the whole region rose, and the number of processing enterprises has reached 22 so far, and the economic benefits have doubled. In recent years, the perennial planting area of snow vegetables in our region has stabilized at about 16 thousand mu, with an annual output of more than 50 thousand tons of fresh vegetables and nearly 40 thousand tons of pickles, with an output value of nearly 100 million yuan.
