Hemudu tea

Hemudu Town is located in the east coast of Zhejiang Province, with plains in the north and mountainous areas in the south, with a warm and humid climate and 46,000 mu of forest. In recent years, focusing on the development requirements of tea industry, our town has made great efforts to transform low-yield tea gardens, implemented protected cultivation, introduced new products to create brands, and promoted the green organic process, and achieved great results. Tea industry has become an effective way for farmers in mountainous areas to get rid of poverty and become rich and well-off. By the end of 2004, there were 2,150 mu of tea gardens in the town, including 1,558 mu of organic tea and pollution-free tea gardens, accounting for 72.5% of the tea garden area. The annual output of tea was more than 100 tons, with an annual output value of more than 6.4 million yuan, of which the output of famous tea was nearly 10 tons, with an annual output value of more than 5 million yuan, and the average output value per mu ranked first in the city. At present, our town has more than 10 tea brands, such as "Ximing, an ancient site", "Siming Twelve Thunder" and "Prime Minister Green". Its 0% Hemudu wild tea, sparrow tea and ancient tea are well-known in Yuyao, Ningbo and other places. My town's "Four Bright and Twelve Thunder" Alpine Camellia won the High-quality Famous Tea Award of the International China Tea Culture Festival in 1991; "Seven Thousand Springs" brand Hemudu original wild tea won the high-quality famous tea award of Shanghai International Tea Culture Festival; In 1993 and 1994, "Prime Minister Green" tea was awarded the first-class famous tea award in Ningbo, and won the gold medal in China Agricultural Expo in 1995. "Ximing, an ancient site" organic tea won the first prize in the 5th China Cup Famous Tea Appraisal of China Tea Society in 2003.
