Scylla Yishi

One-city blue crab is a specialty of one town in Ninghai County, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. The blue crab in the city of Ninghai, whose scientific name is Scylla serrata, is also commonly known as Ephedra, because of its superior growth environment and tender meat. Blue crab is one of Ningbo people's favorite aquatic products. A town in Ninghai is adjacent to Sanmen Bay and is rich in blue crab. The natural conditions of Qimen Inner Pond in Yishi Town, Ninghai are superior, especially with natural sand and gravel sediment, and the natural blue crabs in the nearby waters are rich. Ninghai blue crabs are scientifically fed with wild and pure natural fish feed, which is the first organic brand of marine aquaculture aquatic products in Ningbo. The culture area of blue crabs in Yishi Town is more than 12,000 mu, mainly distributed in Qimentang and Yishitang, with an annual output value of 150 million yuan. There are 6,000 mu of crab ponds in Qimentang, of which 60% belong to a town and 40% to Sanmen County.
