Ninghai white loquat is produced in Sanmenwan-a town in the southeast of Ninghai County, Ningbo City. A town has a superior geographical position, surrounded by mountains on three sides and Sanmen Bay in the south, with unique microclimate and soil conditions; The traffic is very convenient. The sand-crossing highway crosses the whole town, 23 kilometers away from Ninghai County and 76 kilometers away from Ningbo City. The town faces the harbor with mountains on its back, and the scenery is very attractive. This loquat is a new loquat variety successfully cultivated. This variety has round fruit shape, clear yellow fruit color, milky white flesh, fresh and juicy fruit flavor, fragrant and mellow fruit, single fruit weight of 52.5g, maximum of 86g, soluble solid content of 14%, maximum of 19.2%, edible rate of 73.4%, thin skin and juicy juice, strong resistance, high yield and comprehensive quality indicators exceeding similar products at home and abroad. Professor Liu Quan, a domestic authority, and Japanese loquat experts Kuriyama Takashi and Gu Teng Bao spoke highly of the shape, color and taste of this variety, saying that "White Loquat" is a treasure in Ninghai, an excellent variety in loquat industry and a fine crystallization of southern loquat. This variety is cultivated according to pollution-free production standards. Since it was produced in 1997, it has won many awards at provincial, municipal and county agricultural products fairs and loquat tasting meetings.
