Yuji Shenjiu is a specialty of Shuyang County, Suqian City, Jiangsu Province. The liquor belongs to Luzhou-flavor Daqu liquor, which is made of high-quality sorghum as the main raw material, supplemented by the famous special water quality of Jiulongtan, and is made by using traditional techniques and new technologies. It has formed a unique style of sweet, soft, clean and fragrant, and has been highly praised by experts and consumers. The "Yuji Shenjiu" produced by Shuyang Yitao Winery is named after the historical celebrity Yuji. Yu Ji is the wife of Xiang Yu, the overlord of Western Chu, and her hometown is in Shuyang, Jiangsu. The heroine followed Xiang Yu on the battlefield and went through all kinds of hardships. In order to overthrow the rule of the Qin Dynasty, she was determined to encourage her husband to move forward. Yu Ji went out with Xiang Yu and often rewarded the soldiers of the three armed forces with special wine from her hometown. One by one, they drank the wine from Yuji's hometown, and they all said that the wine rewarded by the empress was "elegant, delicate and mellow, with clear color and strong fragrance, and an empty cup left fragrance for three nights, with a sweet and bitter aftertaste". The soldiers praised this wine as "Yuji Shenjiu" and it has been spread since then. For thousands of years, this story has been circulated among the people, and it is really amazing for modern and ancient legends. Yu Ji is a god in wine. After some guests came to Yuji's hometown to drink Yuji's sacred wine, they thought it was really a good wine. Some people praised the poem as a souvenir: "Peach, red, willow and green spring open the urn; The drizzle and the slanting wind brought the guests home. The beauty is safe in the future, leaving jade liquid to drink chrysanthemums.
