Jiangyan purple lotus taro

Purple lotus taro is a famous local product of Jiangyan, with a maximum weight of 1.5-2kg. Its meat is white, delicate, smooth, sweet and delicious. It melts in the mouth, contains high starch content, crude protein and various vitamins. It is one of the main high-quality vegetables exported by Jiangyan, and is mainly sold in Shanghai, Hangzhou and Guangzhou, with a high reputation. In 2013, the planting area of Zihe taro reached 6,000 mu, the yield per mu was about 1,500 kg, and the average economic income per mu was nearly 10,000 yuan.
